We recently spotted a new batch of imaginative photochops from HarborIndiana over on the Hemmings Nation Flickr pool worth pointing out, some of them a little more grounded, some of them not so much. Either way, we like the way the guy thinks. In the latter camp we see the above ‘chop of a Reeves SextoAuto updated for the Sixties (and based on a Mercury Monterey) to become something more like the Panther Six, with its twin axles up front rather than in the rear.
The Lincoln Premiere wasn’t particularly intended to be a sporty car – more a luxury cruiser – but by imagining a V-12 under the hood and a short roof more like the Macauley Packard, the Premiere looks more like the Thunderbird’s bigger brother.
Speaking of the Thunderbird, how about a later suicide-door ‘Bird as a town car? Sorta the opposite tack from the sporty Premiere above.
You know what’s overrated? Doors. The Buick Space Wagon thus does away with them entirely – along with the A and B pillars – for clean and uninterrupted lines.
Finally, not nearly as extreme, HarborIndiana decided to clean up the Lincoln Indianapolis concept car by getting rid of the fake side exhausts and side intakes and opening up the front and rear wheelwells.
